Agent till OP Ship
Would you like to play a key role in vessel port calls and work in a dynamic environment
where no two days are the same? OP Ship is now looking for a Ship Agent to join our team.
About the role
As a Ship Agent, you will plan and coordinate vessel port calls and act as the link between vessels, shipping companies, ports, authorities, terminals and service providers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Vessel clearance and pre-arrival notifications
- Coordination of berthing, pilotage, mooring and tugboats
- Arranging provisions, fresh water and bunkers
- Coordinating crew changes, transportation and other services
- Handling maritime documentation
- Maintaining ongoing contact with vessels, customers and other parties
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is service-minded, structured and solution-oriented, and who enjoys taking responsibility and working in a fast-changing environment.
Experience from shipping, ship agency, port operations or logistics is considered an advantage. You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
As shipping operates around the clock, the position includes participation in arotating on-call schedule.
About OP Ship
OP Ship is part of Erik Thun Group and provides chartering and port agency services for both our own and third-party vessels in Swedish ports.
With us, you will have a broad and varied role with a high level of personal responsibility and the opportunity to work close to day-to-day shipping operations.
